Josh McRoberts to the NBA
So an already talent depleted Duke is losing its best player as Josh McRoberts is about to declare for the NBA. Its no surprise that while Duke usually gets a flurry of McDonald’s All-Americans, there talent level has not been at the level of UNC’s recruits and losing McRoberts is not going to help. I believe they only have 1 McDonald’s All American signed for next year but that may change with a couple big named centers out there currently unsigned. I’m just glad to see Duke struggle to an 7-9 season and now losing their best player, who I don’t think will do squat in the NBA.
Their project lineup for next year:
Paulus
Gerald Henderson
John “Two-face” Scheyer
Lance Thomas
Brian Zoubek (7-1)
I like the Pack’s chances against those chumps

Uhh, dook has three McD’s coming in.
That gives them
Nelson
Scheyer
Paulus
Thomas
Henderson
and the new guys:
Smith
King
Singler
That makes 8. They had 6 last year, tied with UNC for most in the nation. Next year they will have 8, the most in the nation by 2. Calling them talent-depleted is just wrong, what they are is underdeveloped. Talen is what you come in to school with, and by far and away more talent has gone into Durham than anywhere else.
Your Pack has had one McD in my memory (Julius ‘Hongry’ Hodge). Dook has had more than that transfer out (Boateng, Beard, Chappell).

Mark, stick to guitars and shit you know.
I’m not saying NC State has as many Mickey D’s all Americans as duke has had but the fact that the young guys are not going to come in and start. Granted i left nelson off the projected starting 5, I still don’t think its that solid of a team. At the time i wrote this Duke had 2 Mickey D’s but I had forgot to change it. The third was a later addition.
and if you want to know NC State’s Mickey D’s
JJ Hickson
Brandon Costner
Scooter Sherril
Julius Hodge
Damien Wilkins
Marshal Williams
Rodney Monroe
Corch
Sidney Lowe
Schea Cotton (transfered to Bama after non-qual)
Walker Lambiotte (transferred)
Chris Washburn
Ernie Myers
Derek Whittenburg
