Well maybe they do like her but also like to tourment her. Here are 2 examples.

Between Jen’s early baking and workout days and my early morning basketball games, one of us is usually up early every day. Bella, our black lab, is used to this and if one of us doesn’t get up she seems to wander around the room and make just enough noise to wake one of us up, usually Jen as I am a sound sleeper or just ignore her. Well this morning bella must have wanted some extra sleep b/c at 645 she poked the mattress (on Jen’s side) with her nose so that Jen would wake up and take her out.
Jen complied and after she let Bella back in, Bella ran upstairs ahead of Jen and jumped on the bed and laid down on her side of the bed not leaving any room for Jen to get back in bed. I find it quite funny but I don’t think Jen was happy with getting up at 7am on a Sunday. Bella proceeded not to get out of bed until about 930am, well after both Jen and I were awake.

Bella is not the only one out to get Jen. Sasha, our German Shepard Mix likes to toy with her emotions as well. Two days ago Jen mentioned to me she couldn’t find her slippers, which is strange b/c they are always beside her nightstand. Well about 10 minutes ago, Jen and I were sitting here doing our morning interweb reading when she gets up and walks into the room. Sure as shit, her slippers are sitting in the doorway as if someone had laid them out for her. Apparently, Sasha must have hid them for a rainy day when she felt like chewing on something

They are very good dogs but I swear they do subtle things just to mess with Jen’s mind. It is highly entertaining to me though
