my parents and their perpetual dog-sitter, my sister, went to Florida for the weekend to visit my uncle and left their mutts with us. Koty, a 70lbs Belgian-Malanois, is 13, and Holly, a mutt, is 6 I believe. Now they are generally good dogs, but have never stayed a night at someone else’s house and that makes them a little nervous. Throw in the fact that I have 2 high-energy dogs that are 3 and 2 years old means this could be a long weekend.

My dad dropped them off this morning and they put up a fight. Koty must have thought she was going to the vet b/c she would not get out of the car. Dad had to eventually pick her up, tail b/t her legs, heart racing and whining like she was getting tortured to get her out of the car and inside.

They have settle down a little. Sasha has taken a liking to Koty’s bed, but Koty doesn’t seem to mind b/c she is pacing around the downstairs. Holly has found her usuall spot on the couch and as long as Jen and I stay quiet and calm all the dogs seem to be happy lying down.

That means all silence this weekend, Lucky for us, The Masters is on for the next 4 days!
