So I’m sure some people are wondering why I am spending my birthday in Seattle going to the Southern Cal vs Washington football game. Well besides visiting my buddy, I’m excited to see the best college football team in my lifetime.

Its not often when you see a team in college fooball that hasnt lost in just about 3 years that also has 2 of the best players college football has ever scene. Matt Lienart has already won a Hiesman Trophy and 2 national titles and could potential win another of each, but he will have to beat out his teammate Reggie Bush. I’ really excited to see Reggie Bush in person, he is the do it all player. I compare him to LT of the San Diego Chargers, but others have compared him to Gale Sayers, either one is an amazing comparison.

Although the Univ. of Washington really stinks this year, I’m hoping since USC is coming to town that the stadium, which is supposed to be one of the loudest and also most scenenic (ill post pictures when i get back), is going to be packed and have a good crowd. I look for USC to win 70-17 but regardless it should be fun. And I can’t wait to hear the USC fight song in person!

Games of note for today. Texas vs Texas Tech - TT has only played chumps so we will see how their high powered offense does against a stingy Texas defense. My Pick: Texas

Alabama vs Tenn. - although you have to love UT’s song Rocky Top, this game is being played in ‘Bama. Bama’s D has looked stiff this year but its their offense that is suspect since the loss of playmaker Tyrone Prothro. ‘Bama to win a close one.

NC State vs Wake Forest - ok ok its not a game to watch but I hope someone will text my phone with the score. I think my wolfpack could be in for a long day trying to stop Wake Forest’s Chris Barclay. Wake by a TD

by the way its 8am and I’m watching ESPN’s College Gameday, this west coast sure is strange!
