VaTech + College Gameday + Metallica = trouble for ECU
This has a recipe for an absolute massacre on the football field.
After all that has happened at VaTech their first game is going to be pure emotion. Now add to that, College GameDay annouced they’d be opening up at VaTech, Metallica is rumored to be playing Enter Sandman live when the team comes out, its a night game, ECU’s QB will be making his first ever college start; on the road and @ VT and you have the recipe for an absolute demolition.
VTech may put up 100 pts before the Pirates even come out of the locker room.
*its actually a noon game now. much better for ECU

I told you this already, but if Metallica scraps that pussified black album shite and busts out Battery, i believe Beamer will rip off his goiter and pull a Benoit on Jeff Blake.
too soon?
regardless, this is going to be an ass whooping of epic proportions.
I will be betting a large portion of money on this game.
Perhaps they could just play each other on xbox?
Isn’t VT starting a new QB too? Obviously we’ll be the underdog, so what else is new? Only reason we get any press is b/c we’re a great underdog. Gameday wouldn’t be in Blacksburg if they opened their schedule with a I-AA team either so they should be thanking ECU for being there. We don’t lose in blowouts anymore, John Thompson is gone, ask WVU.
Sean Glennon was only a So. last year and was pretty decent at that. He supposed to have some comp. from some freshman but I doubt Beamer would bench a JR for a freshie.
I think they replaced a couple WR and DBs but for the most part they are gonna be pretty solid again this year.
As an ex ECU football player friend of mine said “It’s us against the world.”
Don’t know if it’s a good idea to have Metallica play it live last time they did VPI got took out by the U
sean glennon will be starting next year. virginia tech will def be ranked top 10 to start the season. no thanks is necessary to ecu, because thanks to tech playing them first game of the season, gameday wont be at VT vs LSU (second game of the season). as one article said, its better that gameday shows up to the first game, that way there is a happy ending, as opposed to a potential loss to LSU (the game is at LSU). but i have an intense feeling this will be a pretty big blowout. wish it was a night game…
way to be a jackass. 100 points before we even left the locker room???
