Who Plays Fantasy Football?
Here is the situation:
You have the 4rth pick in your Fantasy Football Draft and if anyone in your league has a bit of sense, LT, Shaun Alexender, and Larry Johnson are gone, Who do you pick with the 4rth pick?
Tiki - getting up there in years but was also a running fool last season.
Portis - would be the easy pick if he didnt just hurt his shoulder last night.
Ronnie Brown - won’t be splitting time with that pothead Ricky Williams and could put up huge numbers as a #1 back, can he stay healthy?
Julius Jones - Most likely will be splitting time with Barber and we all know the Big Tuna is quick to pull the trigger on switching #1 and #2 backs.
P. Manning - Can he repeat his 2004 performance?
There was an article about it on deadspin so i was just curious to see what other people thought.
Who would you take?

I think you have to go with Tiki, Ronnie Brown or Steven Jackson.
I hear where you are coming fronm with Tiki, but the guy puts up good numbers and was still going strong at the end of the season.
A lot of it depends on how big your league is…
Consider yorself lucky. i have the 9th pick. who would you go with at 9? LaMont Jordan? Rudi Johnson? who knows.
thankfully I am not in this situation, b/c i still have LT (yea Keeper leagues!)
Steven Jackson will def be good, but will the Rams new off. style help or hurt him?
I would say the average league is 12 teams and with the 9th pick you can get one of these
(Lt, Shaun A, Larry, Tiki, Portis, Jordan, Rudi J, Cadilac, Ronnie Brown)
all pretty good choices. then since the draft snakes back o you, you can get
(Dunn, Westbrook, Benson, T Jones, Edge, Gore, j. Jones, Foster, Mike Bell)
not bad at all. 9th position is pretty good b/c you get the best of the 2nd rounders and after them its a huge drop off.
i would go with either tom brady, corey dillon, ben watson, or deon branch.
if all of those guys are gone, i’d probably go peyton or tiki.
I’d still look into Portis. Sure the shoulder is banged up, but he’s a workhorse and has huge fantasy potential. Missing 1 game isn’t that big of a deal.
If you don’t want Portis, I would grab Steven Jackson. The run is coming back to St. Louis, and the fact he can catch doesn’t hurt either. I think Jackson will be Faulk-like circa 2000.
