There really isnt anything better then a Saturday in the fall. Cool breezes, 70 degree weather, low humidity, and the beginning of College Football season. I’m a man with a few vices but my biggest on is being a lazy ass in front of the TV on Saturday and watching hours of college football. Thankfully Jen knew what she was getting into before we got married, and not only does she understand but when i can sit her OCD butt down with me she enjoys watching some games as well. In fact she is beating me and about 15 other guys in the College Football Pick’em pool, but thats besides the point!

Why is college football so great, oh let me count the ways! No other sport offers the atmosphere of a college football game. From the pre-game festivities of tailgating, drinking, BBQs, to the game time entrances with 50 - 100k pationate fans screaming insanely and marching bands blasting fight songs all the way to the best overtime system in all of sports, college football is where its at.

The NFL is great and i love college basketball as well, but what other sport offers you traditions like the Power T, Script Ohio, a buffalo running on the field, the 12th Man, the world’s largest cocktail party, and the Red River Shootout? Yea, I can’t think of one either.

In fact my wife and I are so obsessed with College Football she and I are planning one of our yearly vacations to be the Robers Fall of Football. We are planning on going every weekend or every other weekend to some of the big games, big stadiums, and just big rivalries in college football. I can’t wait. (Thank goodness my Dog-Sitters, i mean Parents live close by!)
