Lost: Season 2 Episode 15
Ok since I’m not at work anymore and my dogs dont seem to understand Lost, I’m hoping to spur up some conversation about the fabulous show on here.
This was a pretty good episode, although the clues were a little less obvious this time. Ie the Oceania mobile, the fake beards etc. I do have some questions
-Why did Eko confess to the prisoner?
-Are they seriously going to take the baby road again, ie Sun’s Pregnancy?
-And are the actually going to search for the prisoners balloon?
-Where has Desmond gone? and Didnt he grab Vaccines from the hatch, the stuff he was injecting himself with?
-Who was ‘HIM’ that Zeke and Ethan were talking about? The Asian scientist from the movie?
-Who else things Claire is Hot?
If anyone was interested the next Lost episode is March 22nd. I talked to ABC and told that I will be in London and unable to watch so they pushed it back, its not just a coincidence! The episode will be Sun/Jin-centric and will talk about a love triangle with them.
Ok someone else has got to watch this show too. Let’s hear your thoughts.

Now that i think about it, what’s the deal with the theatrical make-up? It looks like the Others are actually a research team and not the rag-tag savages they’ve been made out as. Also, where the hell did they move their research facility? Another hatch? Won’t they run out of hatches soon with the Lostaways finding one every other episode?
It was a good episode and thought the biggest development was them finding the make up and stuff. but that then doesn’t explain their “super human” strenght? I mean remmeber Ethan took Claire and Charlie all by himself and strung CHarlie up? are they injecting steroids or something? yeah that’s it, they’re pumping steroids and can’t reproduce anymore so they have to steal babies and kids! wow, mystery solved, next sitcom!
the Ecko scene was kinda dumb unless it has deeper meaning later.
Have other thoughts but no time to write! LOST is an addiction….I’m INFECTED!
Well, if there is any doubt the prisoner is an “other” it should be gone now. He’s playing classic prisoner 101 psychology - “I don’t understand why you let the dr. call the shots.” Not to mention the previous episode the evil look he gave Sayid. Speaking of, where was Sayid?
I think the biggest storyline was the theatrical makeup. In the flashback scene with claire in the baby’s room, the guy Ethan was talking to was definitely the Other that Jack, Kate and Locke ran into in the woods.
They have to take the baby route b/c they are signed for 7 years and as you know you have to have a kid come into a show (ie Olivia on Cosby, Oliver on the Brady Bunch).
You also did mention anything about the teenage girl who saved Claire is most likely the French chicks’ daughter. I’m sure a future storyline is going to involve rescueing her.
If i had a ratty little goatee, i would have hacked it off with a knife and thrown it at the TV…the episode was THAT good.
Claire is hot.
It’s funny how i can suspend my disbelief enough to watch a polar bear, black smoke, whatever else every week and not let it bother me, but the second i think Hurley might bone that shink i’m like “that’s bullshit.”
The makeup has to be used to make the Losties think they are actually on the island when it is all an actual experiement and they are the research team.
The teenage was most def the French Chics daughter and she’ll be reappearing no doubt. They must be taking the kids and making them into the zombies that we saw tip toeing around.
I didnt mention it b/c it was pretty obvious.
People compare this show to the X-Files but at least with the xfiles there was a smaller conclusion each week, nothing here gets resolved…
hurley is gonna trade some ranch dressing for some loving from Libby.
Dialogue from the next Lost?
Hurley (Dipping hand slowly in Ranch Dressing): Sure, Sawyer has the power by controlling the guns, but you can’t eat a magazine clip.
Libby: Oh Hurley, I never noticed how sexy it is to see a huge man dipping his paw into ranch.
Hurley: Oh Libby
Libby: Oh Hurley
The two begin rolling around and fooling around with each other. Suddenly Hurley jumps up as Libby spills the gallon jug of ranch.
Hurly: Damnit woman! Look what you did! (grabs the jar and hugs it) I’m sorry Ranchy, I won’t ever let anything come between us again.
Libby: Whatever, where is the coconut rabbit i made.
I’m wondering why the prisoner didn’t just try and rip those two planks down that were in the way of the duct entrance that Jack crawled out of to get into the gun room in the first place. I mean, if that prisoner has some awsome hearing (as noted by Jack and Locke), then he’d be able to figure out when Jack was dead asleep, rip them down as quietly as possible, and book.
Still, I’m starting to think this is all one giant experiment island, run by an evil corporation not unlike the “Umbrella Corporation” from Resident Evil. Did anyone notice how Dharma and Umbrella have somewhat similar logos…?
