Lost Season and Season 3 and 2 Finale Questions
Lost Season 3 starts Oct 4rth 2006, goes for 7 episodes, takes a break comes back in Jan 2007 for 18 more shows.
First off, I have no idea where to start, but would like to say I Knew Henry Gale was in charge!!!
Here is the noteable things that happened and then the questions left:
Notes:
Libby meets desmond in the Coffee shop and gives him her boat. Too much of a coincidence. Libby is part of the experiment and was purposely planted in teh coffee shop by Penelope’s dad to get desmond on the boat. her dad knew he wanted to sail around the world so it was all a trap
The big piles of tubes with all the notebooks, force me to believe that they were an experiment as well and someone was watching all of them. If everyone would have communicated openly with everyone else then they could figure out a lot from that big pile of notebooks.
Calvin keeps referring to the incident, which was?
Kelvin/Calvin was the guy who made Sayid torture his commander
Zeke is actually Tom
The black ladies name is B or something like that.
The name of the boat dock was Pala Ferry
Compass bearing 3.2.5 is the way to be “rescued”
they let Hurley go tell the Losties what happend and to not come to this side of the island
Sayid, Jin and Sun, sailed around the island.
the Others Dharma Door was a fake.
Questions?
What happened to Desmond, Ecko and Locke?
Locke Admitted he was wrong, but was he really wrong?”
What was that bird who flew at Hurley?
Did the bird really say “Elizabeth”?
What’s up with the big foot statue with 4 toes?
Did Calvin really have a partner that killed himself? (If so it will be in the notebooks?
Why is the Snowman Joke so significant?
How did Calvin’s partner know what the map should look like? and why did he start painting it?
What does the key do?
Why are the Others using fake names?
Anyone find anything good on HansoCareers.com?
What does “Rescued” mean when henry says Walt and Micheal will be “rescued” at compass bearing 3.2.5?
The plane was apparently brought down by the electromagnetic field which protects the island from being found by the outside world, which makes me assume it is a hidden experiment. The Losties were purposely selected to be in the experiment and although they make it seem like the Losties plane crash was an accident, its not.
Penelope is looking for Desmond and knows something about the experiements and her dad is the man running them all. He is in the window of all the Hanso commercials. His connection to everyone else im not sure yet. Penelope hired the Brazillians in the snow to find Desmond. Like she said earlier “Money can find anyone”.
Desmond was pushed to the edge with penelope’s letter to see how he’d react. Locke was tested, Ecko was tested, etc etc. More evidence that it is an experiment
I’m sure i’ll add more, but please add your thoughts!
Scott added a lot of good questions in his Lost Season 2 Finale Post

I’m gonna answer scott’s questions
New Questions opened up by the finale.
1. Will Michael betray his friends and actually leave? Or will he go back to the camp and try and get his friends back?
-No Micheal doesnt come up much next season, per E!Online
2. Why was Hurley on the list if all they wanted him to do was leave and tell people not to come back. No one would have been able to find that place anyway as far away as it was. And why did it have to be Hurley?
B/c they knew hurley can’t keep a secret and would tell everyone. The others prisioners are too vigilant
3. What happened why Desmond turned the key and made the noise, and bright light?
-Im not sure, Kelvin/Calvin said that it would turn it all off, but what does that mean
4. What happened to Sayid?
-Sayid is chilin on the boat, he’ll start to wonder what is wrong soon and return to the beach
5. What are The Others going to do with the 3 people they kept? They said they would not harm them, and said that The others were “the good ones” when Michael asked who they were.
they are going to run experiments on them like they did with Walt but the look jake gave kate at the end was a look of, “we can get the hell outta here”
6. Who were the Russian people at the end. It seemed to me Penelope hired them in order to find out where Desmond is and knew to look for some type of electromagnetics.
-exactly penelope is looking for the experiment that her dad is running
7. What happened to Locke and Eko?
-no idea
8. What was the deal with the bird that Hurley thought said his name?
-that was just freaky, could it have been walt’s parrot mutated?
9. Libby was married to the man with the boat. How did she end up going into the same institution that Hurley was in?
-its all a setup. Unless his death drove her looney
10. Still no answer on the significance of The Numbers.
-5 more seasons of who the hell knows
The men at the end werent Russian. They were speaking Portuguese.
thanks for the clarification… i just assumed it wa cold and a foriegn language
Just a quick note of correction: Penelope’s father (played by Alan Dale) is Charles Widmore (as in Widmore Labs, Widmore Construction and The Widmore Group). The man that you see in the window of the commercials and in the first Orientation film is Alvar Hanso, CEO of The Hanso Foundation (see also page 18 of this ABC press release for confirmation of Alan Dale’s character’s name). They are linked but they are not the same man.
good stuff . . . a very interesting episode. i agree with some stuff, but there is one BIG question nobody is asking.
when desmond used the key to cutoff the “dam” of electromagnetic energy or whatever, a great light and noise was produced. we saw that the others and henry saw/heard it while holding kate, sawyer, and jack. however, after it ended, they went back to business as usual, as henry gave michael the instructions.
but if that key was so important, wouldn’t henry or some of the others been shocked that it got turned and made a bigger deal about it? in theory, that key being turned changes everything about the island and its powers. but henry and the others just went back to normal after the light/noise went away.
what’s the deal?? any theories?
The electro-magnetic field was pulling objects… and there was no evidence of an explosion on the island when the key was turned (other than say the white light)… so why did a (the?) quarantined hatch door fall from the sky?
Also, assuming the hatch door was metal. It would have been pulled down towards the magnetic source..not thrown half way across the island to the beach.
i still don’t know how Taylor Hicks fits into all this????
Taylor Hicks is an other, simple as that.
Something we also found out is that Kelvin was the guy who made sayid torture his own commander in the war, and then dropped him off in the middle of nowhere.
hanso also was on the widemore foundation board
the plot thickens
Land of the Lost crossed with Truman Show. Weird place on Earth that has been further modified by Man. The sky was changing color because the lighting was changing from the magnetics. But no matter how you look at it there IS something spiritual (or whatever) at hand because of all the connectedness of the characters, plus the scary weirdness of the baby and Walt.
Wow, that was a good episode.
The man in the window at the Dharma video is a man from Norway actually. From before world war 2. I dont know why they have used it but, something links it to the father of Penolpe. maybe it is a sick joke from the producers of Lost to leave clues for us peopla who is trying to think what the end will look like!

“Land of the Lost crossed with Truman Show”
GOOD CALL!
Henry Gale = Sleestack?
did a little digging and Jon Locke played the sleestak leader in season 3 of Land of the Lost…coincidence?
http://www.landofthelost.com/cast.htm
i just wanted to say that.. the mans in the snow.. aren’t actully russians.. they are brazilian!
i would like to say that i believe the writers of lost are going too far with this.
they are making it so open ended that to me it seems like they are just going with it, not really having a direction with lost.
if i was writing it i would allready know what i would hav as an ending etc.
the statue with 4 feet is just to provoke thoughts, i think sayid will go closer on his way back and see the 5th toe is just missing. we also dont know for sure if walt and michael will be rescued. the boat they are in takes on water quickly as we saw earlier in the season. and who’s to say the others arent lying.
its just so frustrating that none of my questions are answered and as much as i love lost i find i hate it at the same time, cuz i know i will keep watching it.
if the jon locke was wrong. why is the island still there. all along they have said the button saves the world. yet everything still remains, this says to me jon was actually wrong. and perhaps the others are just pawns in something far bigger. the bright light and sound are now a warning. and will cause something far bigger in the seasons to follow.
We saw the Quarentine hatch door fall from the sky. That can only mean the door was repelled from the magnetic attraction. Desmond turning the key forced the magnetic attraction to reverse itself, thus repell all the metal objects. I believe locke, desmond, and echo are dead, i can imagine they’re all stabbed with metal objects flying everywhere inside. Charlie probably left the hatch when echo pushed him out the way.
Also i have a feeling walt is not the real walt. He seems not himself the last 3 episodes.
The others, I believe, is not the bad guys. It’s the losties that are the bad guys. The others were telling the truth saying their “the good ones”. We have never actually seen the others kill anyone. Only kidnapping people, but you would think they are taking people in order to save them from the bad guys (the losties).
The island is a huge experiment based on a new plan for a prison. Where if you can prove yourself a changed person, you will eventually leave the island safely.
Walt’s dog is not a dog at all. If you watch the dog closely, he warns the losties when something bad is about to happen. You see him running out the forest before Sun is kidnapped by Charlie. You see him at the beginning of the first season, first episode when Jack woke up after the crash, probably to get him to save people on the beach. You see the dog bring charlie the statues, what kinda dog will do that? Walt knows about the dog, he asked Michael if Vincent was ok. I bet the 4-toed statue is related to the dog Vincent.
And those are my serious thoughts.
wow! that is pretty awesome
HI
Just want to agree with the previous comments. Also, I was wondering - whats happened to the french chick??. Also I agree about the electro magnetic field being flipped, the only metal object near the hatch; which wasn’t inside was the quaratine door. This must of been of the only metal object nearer enough to the hatch, to get shot up into the sky. All the metal tins and stuff on the beach only were slightly affected. About the statue, where’s the rest of it??. And why does Henry Gale ask the guy - “where’s your beard”?
Any answers or suggestions?????
Guys, no offence but i thort they could have given seaosn 2 a better ending than that!!!!
I mean come one, the blinding light in the sky? the loud noise?
I also thought id experiment a little myself with the numbers in season 2.
Did you notice the numbers oat the end of the last episode of season 2? - 7418880 -
The number that appears on the computer screen at the end of the episode is 7418880. ~ Look at the equation below!
4 x 8 x 15 x 16 x 23 x 42 = 7418880 ! !
Finally, the looks that Jack, Kate and Sawyer gave each other at the end of the episode, when you see them for the last time tell me that they know what they aredoing and they know how they can escape from the “Others”.
One last thing. I think the co-ordinates to be “RESCUED” that “Henry Gale” gave to Micheal and Walt and total Poo, and i agree with what someone else has posted about Walt not being Walt, i think the experiments that the “Others” preform are Cloning Experiments and i tihnk that the Walt on the boat is a clone.
If you think about it though, if you’d have been away form your dad for around 20 days and he’s the only person you have contact with, you would be over the moon to see him.
did a little digging and Jon Locke played the sleestak leader in season 3 of Land of the Lost…coincidence?
http://www.landofthelost.com/cast.htm
sorry to burst your bubble, but that ‘jon locke’ is a completely different person…….
jon locke is thet actual actor’s name - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0071005/
well in actual fact a clone would be an exact copy of the person, they would be no different. so i dont agree with that.
but i think its all a clever plot from the directors. all this business of the fake door guarded by the others, the statue with 4 toes and the boat coming out of nowhere etc.
i think its a clever plot by the directors to make watches believe the others may be aliens or something.
relating to what someone said earlier, that hatch with the button was supposedly the only thing keeping everyone on the island, and stoping people escaping. and like someone else said the others didnt seem too bothered about it all. so again it suggests the hatch is a fake.
i must admit the cliff hangar at the end of the season is far too open ended for my liking. its always nice to hav a slight clue as to what might happen next, as opposed to no clue at all. what will happen in season 3 will be totally opposite to what we all say.
and i think thats exactly what the directors want.
for all who are wondering about that hatch door falling from the sky and all that reversed nagnetic crap, remember how echo used the dynomite on the blast door and everything went boom, of course the door blew into the sky when the dynomite went off, then it landed after the light and noise stopped
^^ i think you have a good idea of Walt not being himself but i dont think that he is a clone, not because he would be an exact copy just how would the others clone someone, he could be a clone because clones arnt an exact copy(ie. personality) a person is the way they r because of the place you grew up in, so if walt clone “grew up” with the others then he would be different the walt.
^ And how the he** would a stick of dynamite keep the quarentine door up there that long, come on…
Fine, lets say he’s a clone, made from Walt by the Others. That would make New-Walt 20 days old. He’s too tall to be a clone, unless they’re also doing time experiments and blah blah blah. Maybe they just had a word with him, and he went ‘Hey, these are some pretty cool guys, and I totally dig what they’re doing here.” Or maybe he didn’t, and you’re reading too much into him looking a bit odd at his biological father - who he hasn’t seen for 20 days, and whom he had only met around 20 days or so before that. Remember? “Hi, I’m you’r biological father, who you’ve never met, and your dad wants you to live with me, a total stranger. Lets go to America, and crash on an island, shall we?”
Desmond reckoned that pressing the hingmy every so often leeched off some megnetic whatsits because it got all built up and would magnetize the living hell out of everyone on the island and rip their fillings out or something. So, if this magnetism is such a unique GEOLOGICAL thingy, why wasn’t the world magnetised seven ways from sunday already - or did they build a containment building there before it started on the off chnce that some freaky disturbance would crop up there?
Either it’s fake or it’s real, nothing in between. And either way, it wouldn’t work. It can’t be fake because of all the weirdness and freaky-ass shiny sky syndrome. It also, however, can’t be real, as it just wouldn’t work in the plot. It’s just silly, and ill thought out, and that means that anything, ANYTHING could happen at any point because noone’s thinking about it. It’s written by people, remember? And those people, I’m sorry to say, are writing stuff people like because a majority of people like enjoyable badly written rubbish like ALIAS or The Da Vinci Code or anything by Stephen King or Tom Clancy.
As this seemingly ever on-going series goes on .. we seem to be forgetting some key events as the plot keep unravelling more and more.
IF YOU WILL … think back to the episode where you se childrens feet walking through the jungle .. in single file it appears (also you see the girl with a teddy bear) …
WHERE THE HELL DID THESE PEOPLE GO!!??
and what was the deal with shanon seeing walt (all covered in water and speaking in some kind of coded lanuage)
god i love this program
Did anyone notice that Libby said her husband’s name was “David”?! Could this be “Dave”, Hurley’s “imaginary” friend?!
Every single theory on this page is stupid. I swear to god, EVERY. SINGLE ONE. The posts just get stupider and stupider, walt is a CLONE?? I mean seriously, the secrets are Lost are safe if these are the people trying to figure it out.
Anyone heard that of Gary Troup (fake Lost author) guy? Wrote Bad Twin? I read somewhere that his first book in the ‘Lost World’ (not the dinosaur crap obviously) was called the Valenzetti Equation and it was about at an equation that could work out how much time there was left till the end of time or some such nonsense. Also, all copies of and rights to this book were bought up by the Hanso Foundation. So the numbers could have something to do with this equation.
The creators also said next season they would explain why Walt was much taller when his dad rescued him. Obviously in the real world its because teenage boys have growth spurts but obviously Lindelof and co feel an urge to explain with spurious Walt/Others growing crap. Although, I doubt he’s a clone but if he is he was obviously built on a spaceship that has been buried in the Pacific for years and that was what the giant foot was a part of and the spaceship was obviously called DHARMA and Libby owned the spaceship with Widmore and Alvar Hanso and Hurley is really a mole for the others and Jack isn’t really a neurosurgeon he’s just a normal surgeon but thinks neurosurgeon sounds cool. You get the point.
Also, they can’t kill Locke, Des and Eko.
1. Creators have said they have still to explain why Locke was in a wheelchair.
2. They’re not just going to kill off Des just as we found out an awful lot of intrigue about (They kind of did this with Libby but they won’t do it twice).
3. Eko’s the only one who there isn’t really that much left to talk about, apart from maybe why he left Nigeria or something.
Maybe at the end the Others didn’t care that much about the light in the sky because they have seen it before or they know what it is because they were DHARMA people all along. Theory: In the Pearl Orientation tape it says something about taking a boat back to a barracks or something after their shifts are over so that must be where the Others keep going to off the island.
Hope you enjoyed my theories most of them are probably BS but who cares.
just 2 let u know ppl, the damn hatch door was BLOWN off because i assume that desmond BLEW up the hatch…mmmk, the hatch is made of titanium which is NOT magnetic, remember season 2 ep 3? and only 3 metals are magnetic, something like iron, cromium and nickle (or sometin like dat)
OK FIRST OF ALL HERES THE LODOWN
THE NUMBERS , IF YOU MATCH THESE NUMBERES TO THE COORDINATES ON A WORLD MAP THEY POINT TO THE BERMUDA TRIANGLE BUT IF YOU SLIGHTLY TURN THE MAP AS IN SERIES ONE AND MAKE NORTH NOT NORTH BUT SLIGHTLY NORTHWEST THEY POINT TO A LITTLE ISLAND, ALSO THE NUMBERS IF YOU NOTICED IN SERIES ONE THE SEATS THAT THE MAIN CAST WERE AT WERE THESE NUMBERS. IF YOU CHECKED THE DATE AND TIME ON THE NOTES THEY FOUND AT THE OTHER HATCH THEY ALSO MATCH THE NUMBERS. ALSO THE BRAZILIANS IN THE SNOW RING A NUMBER AT THE END THAT NUMBER IS
7418880 DEVIDE IT BY THE NUMBERS EG
7418880 DEVIDED BY 42 THEN BY 23 THEN BY 16 THEN BY 15 THEN BY 8 AND THEN YOUR LEFT WITH 4, MAGIC ALSO IF YOU REMBER HALF WAY THROUGH SERIES TWO WHEN THE OTHER HALF OF THE PLANES CREW WAS FOUND MICHEAL SAID TO LIBBY ” I THOUGHT THER WERE 29 OF YOU SHE SAID THEY WERE. INFACT THERE WAS SIX ,,,29 - 6 = 23, ONE OF THE NUMBERS. ALSO ALL THE SIGNS ARE TO DO WITH BUDISM
AN
here is some lost theorys and also some other lost stuff including the hanso offical website.
http://www.i-am-bored.com/i_am_bored_output.asp?action=search&ss=lost&sa=Go
Did anyone notice in the end, on the pier, this girl tried to stand Kate up by grabbing her tits, but in a fit of panic, she quickly moves her hands below Kates armpits.
I think the Island is a transit point between life and death.
This is the place where all the souls are being tested.
the losties died and the crush, the others died in the Dharma project.
think about it….
Man i love lost, lots and lots and lost. Has anyone considered the book that the orientation tape is hidden behind, “Turn of the Screw” by Henry James. It is a book made famous for its ambiguity and un resolvable ending. It is a book that has generated some of the largest volumes of literary critizism (which is sorta what people used to generate before the internet existed in response to there love of stories/literature/entertainment) The main feature of this book other than having an ending that explains nothing is a mansion inhabited by ghosts or the imaginings of an insane governess. Through out the book these ghosts/imaginings are refered to as the “others”. (they are also undoubtedly the basis for the movie “THe Others”)
What I am gettting at is that the writers of Lost have already drawn parallels between this story their own. They have aligned themselves to a genre of story that is defined by its unresolved ending. To spell it out plainly… they will probably never let you in on the whole truth and nothing is ever going to be explained. It will only become more and more complicated until they eventually end it without telling us any anwsers. They are just fucking with us, and I LOVE IT. Hopefully they will stay faithful and never let us in on anything.
Anyway the best part of the last episode is when Desmond turns into Jack Sparrow on the beach… should have said..”But why is the rum gone?”:)
does any one think that kate, jack and sawyer are going to have a spit roast?
Did nobody notice that the dude playing chess at the end of the last episode( the dudes in the snow ) the one wesring the glasses was or looked identicle to jack the doc. what do you think? greg
I am absolutely sure that Walt isn’t a clone, couldn’t be done on 20 days. I like Gary’s theory, but don’t think it’s right, the book’s just a way to set the audience on the wrong foot(hope so)
The button has to be pushed every 108 minutes to unload the megnetic charge, if it can’t be pushed, the last thing to do, is turn the key to start somekind of a machine to reverse the magnetism.
The Others know all this and are therefor not suprised by the sound an light-spectacle.
The Pearl has to be an experiment, as all the tubes are just sent to an open space on the island, building up a stack. Nobody reads them.
Big questions for me are;
Why does Ecko end up on the same Island as his brother crashed up on, when the plane crash was rather by chance by a system failure … (and all the others things that have happened by chance)
Is Libby somehow connected to more of the Losties.
Why are there 2 men waiting for an electromagnetic anomaly in the snow, couldn’t they just monitor somewhere else, perhaps that was the most ideal place to monitor all of the Islands of the Dharma organisation
They are likely near one of the magnetic poles of the earth. This would be an ideal location from which to monitor electromanetic activities world wide. the authors of this series are very clever at using misdirection to confuse those watching the show. this is yet another example: is the island really located in antartica?? hehe.
About that spit roast idea, i think so.
I mean lets think about this, basic human needs have to be satisfied: food, water, rest, reproduction!
Lets look at the the picture, Jack fancies Kate, Sawyer fancies Kate, Kate fancies both of them, Sawyers had a little action already with Anna-Lucia and has had a little taste for it and needs a little more.
And then, Sawyer gets emotional with Jack, telling him that Jack is his only friend, so Sawyer might like Jack a little bit too.
It’s all about to be a massive orgy!!
STONE COLD EVIDENCE ! ! !
One observation, of many, that i have made which i believe to be of great signifigance: when michele is captured and is being questioned by the black doctor-other, she asks michele if Walt has appeared in places that he isnt supposed to be. of course we know that walt appears to members of the crash party although he is only able to whisper and he seems to be trying to warn them. The black doctor seems to have been confounded by walts abilities. i think this is why michele was allowed to leave the island with walt. walt is able to comunicate telepathically with people outside of the island, and this is a great threat to the experiment or whatever. also i think michele was clearly comunicating with one of the others and not walt via the computer. this was a setup in order to get michele to do certain things that the others desired, the most important of which was that he take walt off of the island to safety.
i
i think the island id being tested for a new prison and the others have been sent to the island to see if the islands habbbitat is a safe area. Also i think that charlie is one of the others and MR ecko is the person who was watchin desmond in the other side of the island.
There are a few things everyone seems to have forgotten about.
Firstly, end of season 1 - the thing that drags locke down and makes the weird noise.
Secondly, What are the voices in the trees?
And in the second season what is that black clould thing that floats in front of echo?
Whats the crack with walt when he was talking to Shanon?
Why have all the stations been abandoned?
Whats in the other stations on the map?
My theory is the island is a place beween heaven and hell for the lost people to be tested. Echo knows this i think. The button tests their faith.
Ross
Whats all that stuff of antartica?
Well, we had the snowman joke (more than 1 time)
We’ve had a polarbear. (also more than one time)
Those guys at the end of the finale are in antartica
What do you think has happened to the moster that’s in the jungle? We have’nt seen it since Episode 10 - 23rd Psalm, and what do think it is or connected to??
H’oookay. lots of these posts are appauling and are totally off context or are from people who seem to know little about the making of the show. So as for the “Prison” theories…why would a major technological and environmental scientist stop making weapons for billions of pounds…and build a prison. Yeah sounds likely. And for the little between heaven and hell thing…that place is called earth, for all you religious nuts out there. Everything on the show can be explained scientifically. those are the words of the creators…so maybe we can take those a little seriously. To really figure this out we need scientific theories.
Well Purgatory theory is down the toilet at last thank god! Why is everyone assuming that the bright light was caused by desmond turning the key? its more likely it was occuring when countdown finished i reckon turning the key stopped it.
hey, the theory about antartica, come on people! sure there is some snow, but remeber that polar bears don’t live in antartica but on the noth pole (on the other side of the planet!)
so what the hell are brazilians doing on the north pole? the island is on the south part of the world, so monitoring geological anomalies that occur on the other side of the planet doesn’t look very intelligent to me
Have you guys ever thought where the island might be???In season 1 theres was polar bears and in the end of the season 2 those two scientist guys where on antarktis and antarktis is next to australia where the plane left…So if the island is on antarktis how can it be an tropical island???
in the season 2 finally, why has nobody noticed that one of the scientists in antartica or were ever it is, is played by the same man who plays Jack (the surgeon) its him!!!!!!!
for those of you who wondered about the “incoherent language” that Walt uses when Shannon sees him in the Jungle:
Walt speaks back to front English, and when it is “translated” it comes out as:
“Don’t push the button. The button’s bad”
Could be a sign of something ;/ i’m no good at all this conspiracy stuff
I reckon it is all a pyschological experiment with several levels of heirachy. For example the pearl station is the next level up from the swan hatch.
Henrys mob are higher up in the experiment and heirachy. Jack,Kate and Sawyer are up for promotion. I.e coming home with us.
Walt is special, hence the fast track up the ranks. cloning. give us a break:-)
Here’s what really baffles me: Why do most comments on here have such horrid spelling errors???????
Foreign posters perhaps (like myself)
Every day I’m beginning more to worry that Gary’s theory about the book might be right, please, please, Lost-directors, tell me it ain’t so.
Also, like said in previous post, the directors once said everything that happens on the island can be explained scientifically (damn, that’s spelled wrong :)) so please don’t talk about Purgatory or crap like that again, I beg you ….
Gary Troup is an anagram of purgatory? Misdirection?
- where is the Oceanic Flight plane??, why all that magnetic booom didn’t deal anything with metal parts of wrecked plane
- where is and what was that security system with black smoke and strange scary sound? why not apearing anymore?
- polar bears and uniorns? where they are now?
- what was that hole in the ground from which jack saved locke (when security system tried to take him inside)
In the last episode, we all saw that weird bird that Hurley thinks screeches his name. In the episode in season 1 where Jack, Kate, Locke and Boone go racing off after Ethan, Charlie and Claire, Jack hears the same noise but thinks its Claire shouting for him (Just before Ethan roughs him up a bit). Weird?
its obvious that some one on the island owns an animal creating machine, therefore explaining the boars, the polar bears, talking birds, annoying frogs, HORSE, and all of Jins fish
Earlier i posted that the scientists you see at the end of the last episode of the second season are likely at one of the earths magnetic poles. this would be an ideal location from which to monitor electromagnetic activities worldwide. if you recall the orientation video at the main hatch, experiments in zoology are mentioned. this would explain the presence of polar bears and large eagle like birds in an envioronment not suited to them. I think the island is probebly not an island at all. it was likely constructed to appear to be an island on the surface, but within it is some sort of machine. now this may have been done by aliens or the atlantians in the past. but i think the island is mobile. consider the various locations the different planes on the island left from. either the island is moving, or the planes are somehow being transported. also, remember the predictable rain patterns? the electromagnetic devices on the island are likely used to stabalize weather. the chinees are doing this today. also, remember when the beach starts to arode rapidly for a breif time in the first season, then it isnt mentioned again? the island was probebly being moved at that time.
HAS NO-ONE NOTICED THAT THE GUY AT THE END ON THE PHONE WAS ACTUALLY JACK SPEAKING A DIFFERENT LANGUAGE? ANYONE?
Are you sure it was the same guy. i went back and looked at him, and although he sort of looks like jack i couldnt be sure.
more on the subject of the island not being an island: also consider the monster in the jungle. this thing has appeared at multiple locations on the island. given the hole in the ground we saw when lock is almost pulled in, we can assume that such holes exist every where the moster appears. it seems to me that it would be much easier to construct such a thing from the inside out. it may be that this island predates man and that the experimental stations were set up on the island to fool people into spending long periods of time there. this would have been stage one of a project to make sure that the strange electromagnetic energies werent going to have adverse effects on people who spend long periods of time there. the zooligy experiments are likely meant to explain some the strange stuff going on there so the person stuck in the bunker wont freak out when he sees a polar bear or something. i suspect that we will find out that the others are in fact studying the inner working s of the island, and that eventually we will get to see these areas. the statue with the four toes sort of confirmed my suspicions about the island not being man made and the scientists there really being there to study the island itself.
i think the eyes give it away.
Only three metals are magnetic!!!!
you idiot!!!!
theres way more!
now i love lost, but clones…your all thinking way to far fetched, like with the hatch there were loads of crazy theories, but look, it was a bloke and a computer! wooo…the answers are probably right under our noses…but all the answer will have an out of whack twist!
CLONES! wen sum1 is cloned, they take ur dna and u start from the beginning so walt wud have to be….hmmm about 30 days old!
ya, i did notice the eyes look a lot like jacks. then again, jack has those weird shaped eyes that people with bad vision tend to have, and the guy we are talking about has really thick glasses. i think the actor who plays jack has bad vision but wears contacts or has had corrective surgery.
also, im going to make another strange prediction: the island is the garden of eden. although this is just a wild guess.
http://www.evankroberts.com/2006/05/lost-season-3-nugget.html
I noticed
sorry to change the subject and that,, i dont no if anyone has noticed this before but there is one ”other” who seems to think that they are bad! that is russo’s daughter,,, who sent claire back with her baby! why would she do that if they were all doing good.. i think they are collecting the children as they are easiest to turn,, as far as michael being different i think that is because he has been threatened a lot not to say anything and has been put under alot of strain… this would make him reluctant to show happiness for his dad when he see’s him 4 THE SECOND TIME. remember he showed enthusiasm when he saw his dad in the tent and that got him told off,,, although was that all an act?
Curt, that is the best point ive heard yet!!!
oh man, it is jack… with a fake nose? strange. of course this cound be more misdirection.
ya, good point curt. i think alot of his strange behavior might have more to do with covering the aging of that child actor. i was thinking the same thing in regards to why Walt is hunched over and covered in water whispering when he appears in the second season.
Another thing is that (i dont no whether youve heard this before) but.. i think Henry gale(could be wrong) tells someone else(about walt) ”have you never saw walt in a place he shouldnt or even couldnt be!” the reason his step father wouldnt keep him was because he was wierd things smashed etc this implies that he was in trouble 2 be able to do so.. if like all u exaguraters are saying(soz if spelt wrong) it isnt the same walt it could be his impression as he is not only viewable to one person and fool them all… although when he appears he speaks backwards. when he appears to sharon and sahyid he says something like ‘’shh! there coming, there close,, warning them of anna lucia and the others with the gun( others meaning sawyer eko etc)
just out of interest, did anyone else half expect the boat that micheal and walt left in to blow up as they left?
hold on…i have a few questions no-one is asking!
1: what ever happened to that black smoke creature that “looked” into ecko’s soul or something like that?
2: 2 comments from one of the “others” that they had locked in the hatch really made me think.
a) when someone commented (cant remember who) in front of him: “God know how long we’ve been here!”, he turned very slowly and said: “No, not even God knows how long we’ve been here.”
b) when they asked him questions about his leader (the guy with the fake beard), he said: “that isnt our real leard, our real leader is horrible and powerful.” (or something on those lines.) he was really scared.
anybody else think there is something REALLY spirital going on here?
The brazillian / portuguese speaking guy with the hat is an actor named Len Cordova
I believe its intentional this character has striking resemblence to jack.
heres his IMDB entry

Wayland S.D.
Curt:
The Other that asks Micheal about Walt apearing places was the black doctor lady that is in the camp near the fake dharma door. I commented about this above, but im not sure if anyone read it. it was before i set up an account. I’ll copy/paste it here because i felt it was signifigant too.
The black doctor seems to have been confounded by walts abilities. i think this is why michele was allowed to leave the island with walt. walt is able to comunicate telepathically with people outside of the island, and this is a great threat to the experiment or whatever. also i think michele was clearly comunicating with one of the others and not walt via the computer. this was a setup in order to get michele to do certain things that the others desired, the most important of which was that he take walt off of the island to safety.
also, just remembered something i noticed in the last episode that i hadnt seen mentioned, although im sure others saw it: the others clearly have access to new technology, because the use tazers on jack, kate and the others when the capture them at the end of the second season.
There are so many possible outcomes to the ending of lost and i really hope it isnt the one ive heard about them being dead and this being a test to get into heaven because that would be extremely crap.
The main question that is on my mind is How did Danielle arrive at the island, and what is her story?? We have seen flashbacks from lots of characters, but we have seen nothing about Danielle other than that she had her daughter stolen by the others and that her daughter is still alive.
As annoying as it is that we dont know much about Danielle it leaves many possibilities to who she is. For all we know she could turn out to be the leader of the others?
And another question! Danielle and Calvin/Kelvin are both suposed to be from reasearch teams, but why the hell are they so heavily armed!?!
Also something i forgot to mention:
Henry Gale was captured by Danielle and therefore the “others” know about her, but they dont seem to be too bothered with her.
russo got onto the island via boat he says this in season 1 i think they got shipwrecked
did anyone notice that the guy in the snow playing chess with the orange jacket on is jack?????
I have a theory:
I think there is 3 parties on the island. The others, Dharma folks and the losties. The others where on the dharma observe project but found stuff out that made them stand up against the Dharma folks. Dharma project still have the losties in the project and the others took their leaders away to get better/stronger for a rise against the dharma folks.
Libby looks like she could be a agent that recruit people for the Dharma project.
The other losties left at camp+Hugo are still in the project and the others don’t want the Dharma folks to end the project. Well the others have contact with the outside because the boat uses fuel and the used advance methods of catching them.
LOL
82:23 min:sec (no ads)
Picking up Kate…look at the person helping her up
Well I wont be surprised if the creator of lost read this comments and get a few ideas here.
Episode 221:
At the end where Hurley cries next to Libby, just after Jack leaves them alone, you can see bad acting as Libby chest is clearly moving as she bereaves.
Five more seasons of lost!!!
YEE!!!
Hi, this is my first post as a named user. I had an idea about the Others and why they believe themselves to be the good guys.
The black smoke, the defence system seems to judge people and decide whether they should live or not. It let Locke and Eko live because they were good people but killed the pilot because he was not (I know thats a big assumption).
If you look at the map on the blast door in all the scrawled notes it mentions the Cerberus system and a malfunction in this system. Now in Greek mythology Cerberus guarded Hades so could our black smoke be Cerberus?
My Theory:
The Cerberus system escaped and went through all the DHARMA iniative tunnels under the island (it must use tunnels as it tried to drag Locke into one ages ago and on the map Radzinski/Kelvin wrote ‘a mouse does not rely on just one hole’ or something like that). All the stations concreted up their access to these tunnels which all lead the question mark, this could be represented by the crosses on all stations which point inland on the blast door map. DHARMA workers were killed and spared by the Cerberus system. The ones that were spared, legged it back to the Pala Ferry and went back to their barracks (Mark Wickman/Marvin Candle mentions this in the Pearl orientation video). They then happily spent the better part of two decades continuing their research on and off island believing themsleves to be good. Although, their character could have changed over two decades of isolation.
This could mean they also lived through the Swan ‘incident’ and therefore this could explain their lack of concern at the end of ‘live together, die alone.’
I feel quite satified with that in general. Of course the whole blast door map could be rubbish and is just there so people like me spend time thinking about it.
BTW, when I said could our black smoke be Cerberus I didn’t mean the nine headed dog I just meant the Cerberus system.
Just my theories to the end of season 2:
At the end of season 2, we see the the two guys in the polar station measuring something with their equipment. They directly inform Desmonds former girlfriend who said before ‘with money you can find everyone’. So it is clear to me that the job of the two people in the polar station was to find Desmond. The question is how.
I dont think that they were looking for someone turning the key on the island causing the bright light we saw. This would mean, that they knew, where Desmond was and what mechanism is on the island. This would mean that it is a big conspiracy and Penelope is part of it. If she knows everything, why didn t she just rescue him? So its rather unlikely that the two scientist see the ‘explosion’ on there system.
But, what could Peneleope (or the people she pays) have done to track Desmond? Someone might have put a small transmitter in his boat. When the boat was on the island that was covered by some ‘magnetic shield’, the signal of the transmitter could not be received by any receiver outside. So she may have paid peaple to build up stations all around the world searching for that signal. When Desmond turned the key, the ‘magnetic shield’ disappeared and the signal could be seen on the screen of the two guys in the antarctic station (which is propably the next station to the island).
And about the ‘good’ and the ‘bad’: Dont take to seriously, what the others, especially Henry, say. As we know, he is very good and lying and playing a role. I am pretty sure, everything we see of them is fake (clothes, false beards, the boat). Even if he did not lie, it may only be his personal few. For example a terrorist may also say: we are the good ones.
Another thing that is very clear now to me is, that Henry is the leader of the others. It was clear when Michael released him in the hatch by just seeing in his face or when he talked about the leader of the others (He is a big man). He is arrogant and big-headed and that might help in season 3 to fight him.
Just my thoughts …
Hi, I realize some people have touched on this subject, but if Walt has the ability to “appear” in places that he shouldn’t be, then Michael may have just left the island with a projection of Walt. Once he is saved, that walt may disappear. also, if they were in the bermuda triangle, that would probably conatin a natural geological magnetically messed up area, since we already know it affects compasses in real life. Also, if the losties want to know some of the history of the swan, they can go read the logs that were piled up in that field. If the guy who drew the map knew where the hatches were, he must have had more knowledge of what was going on, and the logs may have info on that. Chances are, sayeed will save the 3 losties that were captured because he has a boat and he is close by. They also never explained why Jacks father was not in the coffin. Also if the island has healing powers, do you think there is any chance it will bring back the dead, boone, shannon, libby, anna-lucia… hmmm…
One more thing, JJ Abrams has said he has a “bible” with all of the secrets he wants to reveal and when they will be revealed. So don’t think any of this stuff is unplanned. He said only him and maybe 4 others only truly really know what the ending will be, and he has made it so he can extend it for many seasons if it does well all the way through.
Hey Everyone, Sign up to this blog and be notified when I update it.
some JUICY info comin soon!!!!
http://www.evankroberts.com/2006/05/subscribe-to-this-blog.html
Some things people haven’t really touched on yet.
What is the black smoke machine / guard thing actually guarding? They’re still yet to explore what’s actually in the middle of this island.
How did the french woman actually get power? She had a cable coming from the sea… What was that all about?
The others did seem to be familiar with the white light / sound that went on, but they should have been, because although we didn’t see it in the flashbacks, let’s not forget that in the past the clock has ran out before so the noise and light probably still happened, unless that was what happened due to him actually turning the key.
I’m very skeptical to the ideas of the island being spiritual. Nothing spiritual has actually happened so far. However, all the links between people have been interesting, especially Libby and Hurley. She was sat in the institution with him - How did Hurley not recognise her? What was wrong with her?
Onto the deal with Aaron (Claire’s Baby) What went on with the spiritualist thing. Becuase he clearly said in a few episodes later that he was a take-the-piss and wasn’t really spiritual. So why did he call claire so much for months? Was he perhaps trying to get the baby for a couple he already knew in america? Or was he actually psychic? But then why deny it?
Lost is a great, very well written program, it just feels like more answers should have been given.
Lastly to all you people who are looking at theories and creating your propaganda, just remember, in film everything you see, you see for a reason - it’s all edited in on purpose, second by second.
Cheers.
Backing up my previous point as well, on the image which is visable using the UV light on the blast door, there’s a big question mark in the middle. This also makes me wonder what’s in the middle.
Tom
Okay, first, quoting the anonymous guy who said there was bad acting as libby was still breathing as she died… maybe she’s not dead!! She’s still alive!
Secondly, that statue with 4 toes… hmm, the name HOMER SIMPSON comes to mind!!
You think PieMan could come to the rescue?
Also, did anyone first think when they saw the snowy mountains at the end of the finale of season 2, that it is in fact the area of the fortress of solitude from smallville, and the island is the fortress itself. Maybe the writers of Lost and Smallville can link this together, and Superman comes to the island, and saves all the Losties from the others! The black smoke may in fact be Zod. And Locke is in fact Lex Luthor. I’m serious!!!
Someone saw the dharma orientation video ??, the guy in the classroom ( teacher of a kind of institute ) looks like Henry Gale, he has beard, eyesglasses , maybe he is a scientist of the hanso foundation
i really hope ure not serious
the door is a new hatch that’s been blown open.
michael and jake get “rescued” by sayid when their boat starts to sink.
libby gave the boat to desmond because her husband died. then she had a nervous breakdown and ended up in the same psych ward as hurley.
humans aren’t conducting whatever experiments are going on.
the others are really angels, bringing home the lost souls that can’t accept their fate until they make peace with themselves.
The snow guys are Brazilians. Interesting that they are not native and have a slight american accent. Wonder if the Koreans also speak Korean with an accent.. Complete irrelevant comment, but felt like posting anyway…
COMBINING SMALLVILLE AND LOST?!! WHAT A BRILLIANT IDEA!! SUPERMAN TO THE RESCUE OF EVERYONE…HOORAY! I MEAN… THAT’S A HAPPY DAY FOR EVERYONE… u kno the rumours of LOST complete finale is a movie… maybe its actually Superman 6 or 7!
I bet that the creators of lost installed hidden cameras in every household that watches LOST. They’re probably sitting there laughing their heads off, as they watch how we react to their FRUSTRATING and ANNOYING endings!!!!
They are doing exactly what ‘the others’ are doing to Jack’s army
The numbers
The numbers read as a latitute/longitude geographical cordinate hit an island just off the australia to LA flight route. On this island in the seventies the US did many nuclear tests and built nuclear bunkers. The island is curently inhabited by about 100 natives in real life. Theres something in that hey?? Possibly the infection is reaction to the testing that went on and now the air is radiation free ie.30 years later. Makes sense, can also explai manitic fields and reactions, expermints being contained, quarintine warnings.
Anyway in conclusion that must be what the numbers signifie in at least one respect.
Thanks Al
Possible explanations to next subjects:
Black Smoke:
The black smoke is advanced technology, called *smart dust*. It’s a cloud of nano-machines that is able to do all sorts of things. When Mr. Eko confronted this *smoke*, it showed pictures of Eko’s past. This was probably somekind mind image projecting ability. The smoke possibly can take a form of people aswell. As u’ve seen, some of the people had visions.
The black smoke is a surveillance system which keeps the *cattle* in order. It gets rid of people who might be a threat to the island. It rises a fear in peoples heart; not to astray from their path of actions. Everything in the island seems to point in one thing: To “collective mind.” *The Others* seem to work almost as ONE MIND.
Dharma:
The institute of Dharma tries to achieve better human society and effectiveness through a collective thinking. everyone works for society, but not for them selves. Black smoke could be called an orientation machine that helps new comers to adjust in to their new lifestyle. (in this case: possibly hidden scientific experiment.)
The Others:
The others are already slaves of this Collective Mind. There is an entity on the island which can control people pretty much.
*do u remember when Shannons brother died? He climbed to that small airplane which was hanging from a tree, because locke had lost his ability to walk again.(This was due to the ability of that entity to control locke. Locke still doesn’t have feeling in his legs. Perhaps that entity chooses the most promising people to be his servants. And Locke was a very good boy and pushed that button for a long time.)
Just to give u people more questions
I believe that this *experiment* at the island, started when the cold war was at it’s hottest between USA and USSR.
Perhaps it was supposed to gather some people in a safe place to create a new human society, after the 3rd world war, when everything would be in shambles. But the world war 3. never came.
That’s why the Stations doors had the warning: “Quarantine”, in case the world really would have been in shambles. after a few nukes, this whole planet would be full of radiation. (note: there we’re some books inside the hatch, that we’re referring to Cold War).
Perhaps the Original Button pushers we’re all military personnel. atleast one of them was: Sayid’s torture trainer, known as Calvin. Same guy who was working with Desmond for a while.
And If we think realistically: Which *organization* can provide the best Secrecy for experiments? Well, Military forces of course. It’s not a first time when military forces and corporations work together. It’s happening all the time.
But instead of finishing the experiment, they had a great opportunity to continue it. They had a good start.
I was thinking that this freaky bird was saying “Hurley” actually. I think also that this is so big experiment. There are too many coincidences. BTW in other post someone writes that 3rd season will be the last one is it true?
In regards to the “others” being the “good guys”….somebody in a previous comment said that they have never actually killed anybody. In season 2 episode 7 I believe it is, Anna Lucia locks that guy in the hole because she thinks he is one of the “others”. Later in the episode the ACTUAL spy makes it seem like he is helping the prisoner escape (who is in fact innocent) and breaks his neck and kills him.
In the last episode, when Michael gets his son back. Did anyone notice Walt’s look in the eyes, when Michael told him that they were going home? I think Walt knows something that isn’t very nice.
And u remember when Michael was chatting with Walt, with the computer in the hatch? Was Walt using his special abilities to do it? Since *the others* Dharma door was fake, there isn’t probably anymore computers in the island to use…
Or did the Map that mr. Eko had, show that there were couple more places to find?
Go To: http://www.lostpedia.com
Evan thats pretty much what my wife said when the episode finished.
Did you notice when the timer in the hatch ran out, some hyrogliphics came up??? When translated they mean - Cause of Death…..
I have a question, please help me out…
When the doors inside “Swan” drop after the verbal countdown, why does this happen? Surely it can’t be to contain the inhabitants whilst the food drop is made because the beeper started when the doors were down and Henry had to crawl through the vent to enter the numbers. I suppose there might be the stipulation, originally, that there must be someone in the computer room when the countdown starts but why bother having a door between the two rooms anyway!
…just pondering!!
I read about halfway trough so I dont know if you guys noticed this, but the doll traps may be traps for the kids escaping from “the others”.
Walt wasnt only kidnapped kid.
This is very interesting comments!
But, have anyone noticed that all the losties where lost mentaly before they came to the island? Everyone had some kind of problems or “difficult/sad/bad thoughts”. Anyone with theorys around this?
-NorewgianThinker
what i havent seen mentioned that is important is that in the last film that was viewed, it was implied that pushing the button has no actual effect on anything, but at the same time the people were led to believe that pushing the button is the most important job they can have(they dont know it does nothing for sure), and must make sure is done.
Why would pressing a button that does nothing be important, and why would anyone be led to believe that pushing that useless button is so important? In fact they were pretty much conditioned into pushing it at a certain time under the premise that it is absolutely imperative it be pressed, even though they don’t know why its so important (they still dont know it does nothing) - perhaps it is some kind of conditioning, like a pavlovian thing…
I don’t think that guy at the end was Jack he looked a bit fatter and had a grey beard, and how did he suddenly appear in the norht pole speaking brazillian, remember after desmond turned the key it started a magnetic anomaly which the people in the arctic found straight away but jack was with the others. Also in 23 when you see the black smoke you see inside it and here clicking and flashing lights i think that the blakc smoke is with the others and is taking photos of everything and that is how the others know so much about the losties. Henry is the leader of the others didn’t see that one coming
Response for Norwegian Thinker
I believe that every people on the island has a mental problem with them selves. But there are four people who differ from everyone else: Jack, Kate, Sawyer and Hugo. Those names were also on the list, that was given by others. So this definetly proves that *the others* are aware of everyones problems in their past life.
I also suggest that u will watch again episodes waay back, when they discover the first orientation video. It shows a group of students for a short while. stop the video, and see if u find any familiar faces…
Four (4) is also the first number on that code.
When u watch earlier episodes, u can see that many of our *heroes* move in areas where are octagonal figures (8). which is the second number. there were also 8 statues of virgin mary.
U can find a lot of these *coincidenses* when u start looking for them.
hi im from enland and have only seen up to eposode 9 series 2 and want to no more like why does walt not try to run away from the others and what are the whispers?
The bermuda triangle isn’t a magnetic field or distorted magnetic anything. There are elevated levels of some gas i can’t remember off the top of my head, but that gas is lighter than oxygen, when any plane/boat goes through this, their instruments malfunction, as they are supposed to be used where oxygen is prevelant. When a plane goes through this area, it loses altitude, but can’t always be aware of it since the instruments in the plane malfunction due to the lack of oxygen as well. if they are indeed anywhere near it, it has nothing to do with magnetics
hey i live in australia and last night was the episode where they find where clire was kidnapped to
clair thought the person that rescued clair was the french chincks daughter has that been proved yet? also do they attemp to bulid another boat?
sorry about the spelling mistakes^^
claire,
french chicks
and to recap some of the past comments, we’ve been forgetting about all the stuff from season 2 that are still
unanswered! and that there are way too many connections between everyone on the island for this not to be set up.
i.e. Libby being in the mental hospital and then dying before any of her questions can be answered.
did anyone else notice that the Calvin, or whoever Desmond’s partner was before he killed him or whatever, was
the general from Iraq that Sayid worked with, or rather against, in his past?? and for them to BOTH end up on the island is NOT coincidental.
the brazillians in the north pole say, ” have we missed it AGAIN?” as in theyve been flagged before about an electromagnetic pull, but thought it was a false alarm or missed it.
so REALLY all the losties possibly could have been saved a long time ago if it weren’t for these idiots.
and no one seems to question the really faky black smoke that seems to show up every now and then.
wat in the world IS that stuff?
and i dont think russo is part of the others. she has proved to be only friends to the losties and she captured henry and what not, and ofcourse they DID steal her daughter. that could be a set up, but i highly doubt it seeing as how emotional she gets around the subject.
and yeah. im good for now. and being as obsessed with lost as all you, im going to go back and look at some of those dharma videos cuz i want to see if i can recognize people as many of you say we might.
and dang. the creators of lost are geniuses. like seriously. who else would come UP with this stuff?
incredible.
and to the anonymous who cant spell… your sorta behind.
i live in italy and we get things 2 years late so i understand you.
but download them or something, cuz ALOT happens
comeon im the person that annoumins who cant spell^^^ from australia and i know whats in that smoke coz if u looked closely
there is pictures of ekos past
whats the deal with the mysterious black smoke that Mr Eko and Charlie witnessed?
And when sawyer shot at the guy with the fake beard, the bullet bounced off him and grazed sawyer’s neck. Maybe thats linked with the electo-magnetic stuff? ….
I’ve heard a lot of people say: “Man, 7 seasons?!, i’ll get tired of the program…”. But now after seeing the end of episode 2, i think they’re gonna pull it off.
The serie is building up very slowly and not revealing much secrets.
I’ve read here that everything what happens on the island could happen in real life. Well I’d go insane if I see some black smoke or hear creepy ghost voices all over the place.
For people who’re guessing about locke, desmond and eko, i’ve got this:
After the bright sky and stuff charlie came out of the woods. They asked him where de rest were. I thought they would have been there already and if Charlie could have
