A De-Cluttering Reorganization of My Life Starts Now

I’m a pack rat and sentimentalist, I love her to death but I get it from my mom. No matter what the occasion or however special the need, my mom has what you are looking for (probably 3 of them for that matter) and is always willing to offer. While I’ve found her endless resources useful a lot of times (and I’m very grateful for it) I don’t like being tied to all this physical stuff. My office, my garage, my closets are filled with stuff that I probably will never use but am saving for a rainy day b/c ‘you never know when you’ll need X or Y’. Well, not anymore.

I got into a couple conversations this past weekend with some good friends of mine that really made me think about things. The topics ranged from health, work, and life in general, all of which are topics I have thought about a lot before and more so in recent history. Its hard to point out one single thing that really hit home but I’ve determined its time to start doing and not just thinking and talking about things. Time to take back control.

One of the biggest things I need to de-clutter and reorganize is my Food Lifestyle. I eat like shit. Not as bad as I used to be but still not very balanced. Not anymore. Eating better, more balanced and healthier. I don’t want to end up tri-glyceridin’ dirty like a good friend of mine.

I read Mens Health and Mens Journal monthly and every month I find myself saying “thats a good point, I should start doing that,” but I never do. Well I’ve spent the last few days after all the good conversations with my friends and have started putting together points for a better lifestyle. I’ll go into more details as I address each one of these topics but so far the things I have thrown together to work on are:

- My Food Lifestyle
- My Workout Lifestyle
- My Work Lifestyle
- My Social Lifestyle
- My Personal Lifestyle
- My Family Lifestyle
(I’ll be adding to this list as I find the need)

All of these things I could be doing better and be more satisfied with, so thats exactly what I’m gonna be doing. I’ll be posting mostly about this stuff so that maybe someone else can find some benefit in some of these things.

Stay Tuned…..
