I’m still alive, albeit a bit smaller

So yea, its been a long time since I’ve posted something other than my links, but I thought I’d prove to Steve that I didnt forget my password. I’ve just been really busy and have had a lot of stuff going on, most of which I may get into at a later date.

Labitat is doing well, We’ve got some HUGE projects going on which should keep us busy for the next year. We also received some good PR today as Jason just had a piece done on him that was on the front page of the technology section of the Orlando Sentinel today.[Link]

I’m making the slow transition to a Mac, since I bought myself a Mac Mini about a month ago. Its amazingly simple but sometimes too simple, but I am really enjoying it now. I’m looking for suggestion for a new monitor setup. I was thinking about getting a 32 inch LCD for my office and using that as a monitor and a second TV. Thoughts?

Today is my bday. Sadly, I’m catching up to Brent. Thomas posted a picture of us in Austria but its also my first wine buzz. I don’t have any plans but my client sent me these which I plan to dominate upon their Wed. arrival. I’ll be sure to post pictures.

While I maybe getting older, I’m not getting fatter, in fact today, I am officially under 200lbs. I weighed in at 199lbs this morning and I’m extremely ecstatic. This puts me 9lbs away from my goal with a little over 2 months to go. Fitday says I need to lose .88 lbs per week to make my goal. I’m pretty sure I can do that. weight graph

If you are Taco Bell fan, you should watch the World Series and get yourself a Free Taco

and lastly but def. not least, I held back for as long as possible but I just can’t take it anymore..

34 - 20 Bitches!!!!

Will is out there somewhere with a tear in his eye, i just know it, but this should help

Saturday’s was the sixth meeting in 12 years and the first between Skip Holtz, the third-year coach at East Carolina, and Tom O’Brien, the first-year coach at State. Neither did much during the week to fire up the masses, proof that this was basically a nonconference game between distant neighbors. The noise out of Greenville’s football fans during the week didn’t reach Raleigh, which made no noise at all about playing East Carolina.

This has always been a night crowd, and football here has always been played best after sunset. Saturday wasn’t one of those nights. N.C. State turned mean and lost a player to ejection, inciting the ECU crowd. Nothing could ignite the East Carolina football team, though, as State wore down the Pirates and beat them on their own field, running up the score in the final minutes as 43,500 fans began to file out.

As the last of them walked away, they heard the dulcet tones of the N.C. State alma mater, and 1970 seemed like 37 years ago.

When do you usually weigh yourself?

I found that my weight fluctuates by 5 lbs depending on whether I weigh myself right after dinner or weigh myself right before dinner after skipping lunch.

naked, on monday mornings.

a Mac? F’n really? You must like having things to complain about. I would avoid a dual-use LCD. You might kill it way too soon. I also don’t know about picture burn-ins, etc.

Paul - you are supposed to weigh yourself the same time. The best would be in the morning after you wake up as your activity level/eating shouldn’t mess with the results.

My weight also fluctuated and it was about 8 lbs. But since I’ve started to weigh myself only when I get out of bed I have no problem with that anymore.

5

If you weigh yourself on Monday Morning, does eating a big mean Sunday night at 10PM, vs eating lightly Sunday night at 6PM make a short-term difference?

6

no, its not that big of a difference. Weight isn’t an exact science and it shouldn’t be your only measurement waist size is more important.

arrrghhh…i was pissed over that loss. I’d really rather we loose every other game then that one. Oh well, ya’ll are better this year!!!
