What a $hitty Week
It’s been one of those weeks where nothing can go right for me. Not sure what I did to piss the world off but it seems to be out to get me. I can’t wait for this week to end. If I go to sleep now is there any chance i can wake up on Monday?
This week was supposed to be good for me, i was supposed to get a lot of work done, but its been just the opposite. Started out Sunday night, I spent my evening planting bushes for the 2nd day in a row, which wasnt bad at all, but then i sit down and watch the biggest joke of a winner in Survivor history. One of maybe 5 shows I watch left me very disappointed. Monday night with my softball team losing for the first time in I dont know how long. We played bad, very very bad. I was 0-3, ending what had been a decent streak of hitting for me. Tuesday, my internet goes down all morning, I got very little done because of it. Wed. finally got some work done, but proceeded to go 0-3 again in softball continuing my stinkiness, at least we won. Wed. night I was fixing a friends laptop and my laptop decides to crap out on me (only 1 month old) and I lose some very important stuff that I had actually got done this week. Was up till 2am trying to recover what i could. Spent most of the next morning attempting to do work and fix my laptop at the same time. No luck. Got a Microsoft help # and code from T but proceeded to spend the next 3 hrs on the phone with a “Bob” in New Dehli who sounded a lot like a Sandeep with minimal success. Spent another hour chatting with a Dell guy, by the end, he had no clue, is next day airing me a new hard drive and I didnt get a chance to finish the dishes (although I was going to). And to top it off I’ve seen my wife a whole 10 minutes this week, 9 of which she was mad at me and like usuall its 95% my fault.
Needless to say this week can’t end soon enough and today I’m going to either get a Bojangles biscuit or a Jersey Mike’s Sub for lunch. That should at least help start my weekend out decent.

*Update: got worse, one of my friends dogs just tore both of his rear ACL’s, again! Won’t be able to walk for 8 weeks. Has to be carried outside to use the bathroom and live in a crate 
so so sad!

Dude, sometimes it happens. Brush it off and move on. Speaking of Jersey Mike’s, I used to think their prices for subs were kinda expensive comparing to the rest of the places, but they’re all this price in DC, WTF? Across the street of my work, there’s this place called “Jerry’s Subs”, a regular takeout place somewhat like Quizno’s, and their 12″ subs go up to $10 and $12, this is such BS.
go with the ‘Jangles. Everything is better with Bo in your belly.

Man, weeks like this always happen. Here’s how to turn all back around:
Comp - you got a new one coming, no worries
Softball - hit the cages! get some of that confidence back, Canseco.
Wife - word of advice, it’s always your fault. The sooner you realize that, the better off you will be. Apologize, pick some fresh flowers, hand write a note saying how much you love her. done.
Survivor - Sign up! Make your video and be part of the best Survivor ever. Yeah I thought it sucked too, but it’s reality TV. On the other hand, the Hippies won AR, which was the best ever. Great team, always high spirits, and they lost all their crap TWICE!
Dog - 2 of my dog’s have torn their acl. it’s the most common injury. The recovery rate though is very high. Also, it’s best that both busted at one time because a high % tear the other later in life after the first one goes. it’s actually a good thing for the dog and owner (he only has to pay the visit bill once!).
At least Sasha made you laugh and will never be mad at you!
