Dilly Dally, Can It Be Done?

The gauntlent has been laid, a friend of mine from work challanged me to see if I could get ranked on the phrase

Dilly Dally

. She obviously doesn’t know whose she is messing with b/c I will Dilly Dally my ass all the way up the search rankings.

What exactly does Dilly Dally mean you ask?

Well the correct way to spell it is not dillydally or dilly Dally, its Dilly-Dally and Websters dictionary defines it as:

To waste time, especially in indecision; dawdle or vacillate.

Well this is Tammy Badger to a ‘T’. I’m just kidding, Ms. Badger does not dilly dally especially when it comes to work, she’s pretty kickass but very very silly to doubt my powers! SILLY LITTLE WOMAN!

When it comes to search engine optimization, I don’t dilly dally around! ;)

Here are some good

Dilly Dally

facts:
There is a children’s furniture company in Raleigh, NC called Dilly Dally
There is also a Home and Garden store in Raleigh called Dilly Dally
Dilly-Dally is a big phrase in Japan

These dogs are named Dilly and Dally but thankfully they have been adopted.

Hopefully you have enjoyed reading about the Dilly Dally Effect, and maybe if you want to help speed my process up, link to my Dilly Dally post.

    Hi,
I was writing in my journal and used 'dally' in a sentence. I looked on the web to make sure it had 2 - l's and there was your blog. I was relieved to see it had double l's because I hate to mess up my journal pages scribbling over my work with fountain pen to make corrections.

I like the sound of the word: vacillate...and these work for me too.
    shilly-shally
    double-mindedness
    yo-yo
run with the hare and hunt with the hounds

Hee Hee Hee - we'll have to wait and see how long until you do rank on that lovely little phrase - you'll see I did not use it. Good Luck!
