NC State Spring Football Practice

SPRING PRACTICE BEGINS: today

2006 RECORD: 3-9, 2-6 ACC

WHAT TO WATCH: Former quarterback Marcus Stone has switched to tight end. … Daniel Evans returns as the starting quarterback, but redshirt freshman Justin Burke and Harrison Beck, a transfer from Nebraska who sat out last year, also will get close looks. State has to find three new starters on the offensive line.

SPRING SCHEDULE: Practice runs through the spring game on April 14. The practice sessions are closed to the public. The spring game is at 1 p.m. and is open to fans. Admission is free.
