Atlantic City..

So I made it back alive.

We had a blast for my friend Jason’s batchelor party. Having been to Atlantic City once before we were kind of hesitant to go back, but I’m glad we did b/c we saw a completely different side of Atlantic City.

The Tropicana is probably the best hotel/casino in Atlantic City. It was crowded and bustling with all sorts of people, young and old. We decided to venture to other casinos at 3am one night and they were just about dead, except for the zombies playing their nickel slots and sucking down their Marlboro 100s. Of all the casinos the Tropicana was the only one with any kind of action going on.

We lucked out and found one of the best deals for hotels in Atlantic City. The Holiday Inn Boardwalk. The Holiday Inn in Atlantic City was right on the boardwalk and in between the Hilton and Tropicana. Perfect Location. Holiday Inn Boardwalk, booked at Pricline.com for $130/night and on the other travel sites it was at least $150/night.

We saw the Villanova Wildcats, Nova Nation as they call themselves, play the Longwood Lancers who were a combined 1-58 going into the game, give Nova a pretty good game. My friend Jake Brison is really fond of Villanova know. Not the basketball team but the high quality preppy kids, who were enamored with the Gieco mascot (whose outfit didnt even match). The Nova Nation is pretty annoying. I’m pretty confident that Duke would give them a beat down.

We did some other Batchelor party type things and had a kickass time.

It is good to be home with my girls, even though this is the first Monday in a long time where I have not had to get up and go to work
It’s a good wierd though :)!!!
