Yea thats right, I’ll admit it. I watch American Idol.

I know I’m not alone, a lot of my friends are closet Idol fans so backoff! I started watching the first few rounds when all the idiots who think they should be superstars b/c thats what their mommy says, try out. It is hilarious and almost sad at the same time. Add that to the fact my wife likes to watch it, I got sucked in.

Well, last night was the final round and if Taylor Hicks doesn’t win, I’ll officially have lost all faith in reality TV.

Everyone was saying Chris should have won, including my wife, but he got voted out a couple of rounds ago. And I say good riddens. I’ll admit he does have a good rock and roll voice but the boy couldnt be more boring on stage, even when he tried to be animated it was just hideious.

Kathryn McPhee (sp?) has an amazing voice (and is quite buxom), but she is kind of boring as well. Last night she sang two songs that were repeats and in my opinion, not very helpful to her chances of winning.

Taylor is by far the best choice, and not just b/c I picked him from the beginning, but he has a different, Sam Cooke type sound and also has the charisma on stage. Now i don’t see him being a big record seller, but that is not what this contest is about. He is the best on stage, during the show and deserves to win.
